This summer, a skeleton crew of Golden Birds will spend fifty-one days traveling to America’s state and national capitols. Each evening, at 8 o'clock, we will perform a free acoustic concert on the capitol building grounds.

I have tried to explain the various motivations for the trip in some of the pages linked to this one. Hopefully, the ‘manifesto-speak’ is not too much of a put-off. I still don't quite understand why the idea of this trip excites me so much, and this has made it difficult to clearly - or simply - articulate.
